The Twelve is a documentary following members of The Unapologetic 12, a Black female performing arts group made up of ex-felons whose mission is to heal through the arts. This film explores themes of childhood abuse, domestic violence, addiction and how they played a role in the crimes these women committed. This project aims to show what it takes to be redeemed not only in society but within oneself.
